FACEBOOK EVENT MAR 2013

"One Person One Place"
Facebook Event
FIRSTY please just take a moment to google ENDOMETRIOSIS so you know what it is.
SECONDLY just take a moment to tell some-one else.

If each person told just one other person and then they did the same the word Endometriosis would become less unknown and more people would understand what this Disease is and how it effects those that have it.
1 in 10 women suffer with Endometriosis yet its causes, its treatment and the support available is very much lacking.

I can provide posters, leaflets or contact people on your behalf.
Think workplace, HR departments, Friends, Family, at the GYM, Health Centres, Womans Centres, Pubs! Anywhere and Everywhere.

So who you going to tell?

Talking and sharing is FREE ......

ART EXHIBITION HELD MAR 2012

Endometriosis and Art Michellle Middleton
Early in 2012 I was fortunate to exhibit some art work at the South Square Gallery in Thornton Bradford as part of my MA Visual Arts.  I have taken the opportunity to link my own personal experiences of living with Endometriosis and also the experience of others to create work which relates directly to 'how it feels' living with chronic illness and how it relates to , in this particular case, identity (as a woman).

“The work is to highlight how it feels and try and represent it within my artwork.Managing the condition and your lifestyle is one of the key coping mechanisms. It is like a shadow – I have to learn to live with it – but having the support group for myself and other women is critical”

I was thrilled when the Telegraph and Argus kindly featured me within their features section.

I would very much like to thank the support group members who took the time to fill in questionnaires and also the group members who gave me permission to use recordings from meetings. Thank You x

ZAZEN JEWELLERY PARTY HELD MAY 20TH 2011
Zazen have kindly offered to donate 15% of all sales made within a Zazen Jewellery party directly to Endometriosis UK. Because of this wonderful gesture i was able to raise £36 during a recent party. I would personally reccommend holding a party not only for the good cause but also because the jewellery is beautiful. If anyone is interested in holding a party please let me know and i will be happy to give you more information.
